Richard "Richie" has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the legal profession.
Prior to beginning his own firm, Mr. Boyle was an equity partner in a small boutique firm in Boca Raton, FL.
Prior to his career as an attorney, he served as a school resource officer with the Gwinnett County Public Schools from 2015 to 2020. Further, he was a litigation associate with the Georgia State University College of Law in Atlanta in 2019.
From 2007 to 2015, Mr. Boyle held multiple positions with the Athens-Clarke County Police Department, contributing as a senior police officer from 2007 to 2009, a plainclothes detective from 2009 to 2012, and a robbery/homicide detective from 2009 to 2012. Prior to his experience as a law enforcement officer and attorney, he worked as a tool rental department supervisor and a special services department supervisor with The Home Depot. From 2004 to 2006, Mr. Boyle was the owner and operator of E-Z Does It Home Improvements Inc. in Staten Island, New York.
Mr. Boyle prepared for his legal career by earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Georgia State University in 2018. He further holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialty in human resources from St. John’s University, which he earned in 2006. Admitted to practice by The Florida Bar in 2020 and the State Bar of Georgia in 2019, Mr. Boyle has further been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and the Georgia Middle Bankruptcy Court.
With a diverse set of professional experience, Mr. Boyle previously served as a teacher of elementary reading, mathematics and advanced calculus, in addition to sharing his knowledge as an assistant professor of trial advocacy. For his accomplishments, he received two Officer of the Year awards from the Athens-Clarke County Police Department in 2009 and 2012. Mr. Boyle is also the recipient of a Trial Advocacy Award and received an academic scholarship from St. John’s University.
Mr. Boyle has maintained affiliation with a number of professional organizations throughout his career, including serving as the co-chair of the family law section of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association. Mr. Boyle is also the co-chair of the CLE committee of the Susan Greenberg Inns of Court. He was further a member of the Florida Police Benevolent Association and the Wellington National Country Club. In his free time, Mr. Boyle enjoys spending time with his daughter and playing golf.
Mr. Boyle was born in Colombia, raised in New York City, policed in Athens, GA, and now lives in Wellington, FL. Mr. Boyle is proud of his diverse ethnic background and experience.
He has worn many hats throughout his life.
Mr. Boyle likes to say that he has cut grass, cooked fried chicken, sold shoes, repaired homes, helped build new structures, managed retail, installed and managed security systems, patrolled the streets as a uniformed officer, an undercover officer, a homicide detective, and a school officer.
Mr. Boyle can fix almost anything, and that includes problems that you can't see.
